Taylor and I met in 2009 when he started working with me at George's in New Albany. We were friends for 3 years before we started dating. I always had a feeling about him and knew he would make an amazing husband to someone one day. Little did I know, it would be me.
How We Got Engaged
I came home from watching an Ole Miss football game with Taylor and his family. He came home shortly after me and came in and called me into the living room of our house. I came around the corner and he was on one knee and said, "What are you doing for the rest of your life?" He then told me how much he loved me and asked me to marry him. Most amazing day of my life, until my wedding day of course.
About the Ring
The ring is gorgeous! I actually tried on a few rings as a joke one day and I saw that this one was expensive so I never expected to get it. It is perfect. He remembered the one that I loved. He knows me better than I know myself.
Our Relationship in Three Words
Live, laugh, love.
Our Shared Interests
We love to have fun and to be together. Honestly, it sounds mushy, but anything we do together is amazing. We have the same sense of humor and we love to laugh. He is everything I have ever wanted in a soul mate.
Our Favorite Date Night
Sushi and a movie. That's the date night we love the most! Sushi is our favorite thing to eat when we go out. Movies are the best for us. Every now and then we go bowling or something different, but we always love to watch a new movie.
What Part of the Wedding Are You Most Excited About?
I can't wait to walk down the isle and see Taylor. That's the one moment that will take my breathe away. I can already see that I will be emotional when I see him because it will just be the happiest day of my life. I love him so much.
